On our first date, we went to dinner. Ben ordered a seafood gumbo, but neglected to ask the waitress if the dish contained scallops. It did and not long after dinner he was driving me home, when the scallops decided to make their exit. Stopping at the side of the road, he "ejected" his dinner, along with his teeth, and as he pulled away realized what happened. Not wanted to part with his dentures, he returned to fetch them. Needless to say, he was VERY EMBARRASED, and thus began our years together. Poor Ben, he would be mortified if he knew that I told on him. From Rita, 8-21-2014
